CEAC Awards: Engineer of the Year

CEAC Awards: Surveyor of the Year
Active members that have made outstanding contributions to the County Surveying profession and to CEAC activity are eligible for this award. Award recipients are recognized annually at CEAC's fall conference.

CEAC ByLaws and Officers Manual
The objectives of the County Engineers Association shall be to accomplish the advancement of engineering methods and ethical practice by means of meetings and conventions.
Through discussion, interchange, and dissemination of engineering and administrative data and ideas, the organization shall strive to effect maximum efficiency and modernization in engineering and administrative units of local government. By these means, and by professional and social intercourse, this organization shall further the welfare of its members.

CEAC Membership: County Employees
Principal Membership in this association shall be limited to County Engineers, County or City Engineers in combined cities and counties of Charter Counties, County Surveyors, County Road Commissioners, Directors of County Departments of Public Works, Flood Control Engineers, and heads of other Departments concerned with County Engineering and Public Works, serving major segments of any County under the direction of the Board of Supervisors.

CEAC Memorial Fund Scholarship
The County Engineers Association of California will grant up to three $2,000 cash scholarships to qualified Engineering or Land Surveying students for study leading to a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or land surveying.  Each student must be enrolled in upper division course work leading to a Civil Engineering or Land Surveying Degree, with a high grade point average, have demonstrated a need for the scholarship, and have participated in related outside activities such as a Student Chapter ASCE, Student Member CLSA or American Public Works Association.  These various factors, including outside activities, will be considered in awarding the scholarship.
